 OverView

The Slideshow application can display images found in the Gallery. This includes images which the user has received via email and snapshots taken with the EZReader document camera.

By default all images within the gallery\ folder are included in the slideshow. However, the slideshow can be limited to only those images found in the gallery\slideshow\ folder.

When the slideshow is running, images are randomly selected from the source folder(s). Images can be constrained to the SlideShow graphical area or the images can be expanded so that no border is shown in the graphic area.

The Slideshow Toolbar can be hidden to provide a full-screen display of images.

The Slideshow is set to display a new, random image very 5 seconds.

 SlideShow Main Screen

Here's an example of an image displayed on the main screen of the SlideShow application. In this case, the image "fills" the image area (no borders in the image area).

The Slideshow application has one row of toolbar commands:

Row 1 Commands:

To restore a hidden Toolbar, click in the upper left corner of the image.

When the Slideshow is running, the Play icon is replaced with a Stop icon which is used to stop the SlideShow from running.

By default the entire image is displayed in the image area, with its aspect ratio maintained. That means there may be borders show in the image area. With a "fill" in place, the image fills the entire image area, which may result in edges of the image falling outside the image area.
